This is my new go-to pub! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a place to unwind after work. I stumbled upon this gem, and I couldn't be happier! The variety of ales they offer is remarkable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the knowledgeable staff who helped me choose a perfect pint. The ambiance is wonderfully laid-back, making it easy to strike up conversations with fellow patrons. I also loved the quiz night—they really know how to keep things lively! The only thing that could use improvement is the snack menu; I found the options a bit limited, especially if you're looking for something light to nibble on. Nonetheless, the vibe was amazing, and I met some great people. I will definitely be back, especially for their themed events!

I had an absolutely delightful evening at this local pub! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with just the right amount of buzz from other patrons. I particularly loved the wide selection of craft beers on tap—there were so many choices that I had a hard time picking! I finally settled on a local IPA that was incredibly refreshing. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. My only suggestion would be to improve the seating arrangements; some of the tables were a bit cramped, making it awkward when trying to enjoy a meal. However, the overall experience was fantastic, and I can’t wait to return. Definitely a hidden gem in the area!

Visited this charming spot with a couple of friends last weekend, and we had a great time! The pub has a lovely rustic vibe that I really enjoyed, and it felt very cosy, especially with the lighting. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was spot on—crispy and delicious! My mates loved their burgers as well. The only minor hiccup was the wait for food, which took a bit longer than expected, but the staff kept us updated, which was appreciated. Wow, what an experience! I visited this pub for the first time last Friday with a group of friends, and we were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The decor has a really unique charm, with vintage touches that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We settled in for the evening and started with a round of drinks—each of us tried something different from the impressive menu, and not one of us was disappointed. I had the steak pie special, and it was phenomenal—melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of flavour! The service was excellent, with our waitress checking in on us frequently without being intrusive. The only constructive feedback I would offer is regarding the music volume; at times, it was a bit too loud for our liking, making it hard to have a conversation. However, that didn’t overshadow our overall enjoyment of the evening. I’m already planning my next visit and can’t wait to bring more friends along to share this hidden treasure!
